Podcast question
Does anyone know what program to use to make a podcast? I've got some teachers who need/want to make one and I've never made one before. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!!!!
You know how much I like free software. I really like Audacity to make podcasts. It is really easy to use to make simple podcasts but there are a lot of advanced tools available as well. There are a number of tutorial videos available for it. Here are some links that might help:
Material on TeacherTube (accessible from school but ads are annoying unless you log in) http://www1.teachertube.com/viewVideo.php?video_id=2510&title=Audacity_Basics
Like Steve, I use Audacity to record. It is free and allows you to edit, add background music, and is simple to use. I use iTunes to convert the wave files to mp3 format. Format Factory is also good for format conversion.
