Using VLC Player to view YouTube videos
This will not allow you to avoid the state firewall, but it does allow viewing of videos without ads, comments, or recommendations. You will need to download VLC Player (free download) and install. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sorry I missed the Hangouts yesterday-I was at soccer tournament with my kids.

Youtube discovery
Made another discovery while playing around with youtube today. You can now hold comments on your videos for review before they are published. I thought this was cool because I hate to totally disable comments as they can be a nice way to connect with other teachers looking for and doing the same stuff we are doing. Just a though/idea/discovery.
